INCREASE YOUR TOW & LOAD POTENTIAL TO WIN

Upgrade your suspension and unlock your vehicle’s full Tow & Load potential.

From May through to the end of July, any suspension upgrades carried out at a participating ShockPro Workshop will go in the draw to WIN a Redarc Tow Pro Braking System valued at over $800

Factory suspension will struggle to control significant weight onboard or towed behind, and an upgrade can offer numerous benefits;

  1. Supports the extra weight and controls it, instead of the weight controlling your vehicle.
  2. Improves handling – keeping the vehicle level to avoid bottoming out, reduces rolling and sway.
  3. Reduces wear and tear on expensive parts & can avoid safety issues when they break.
  4. Alleviating all these pain points will also improve fuel economy.

FULL LOCK TO THE TOP

ShockPro Workshops are proud to support D1NZ Driver Daniel Edwards in his move up the ranks from Pro Sport to Pro Series this year.

We were a little late to the party last year with our support of Dan, and so perhaps it could be said that we hadn’t fully realised the focus and talent behind that dark racing visor! But if we were happy with his efforts landing 2nd place on the podium in Pro Sport, then this year has been nothing short of nail biting …

Exploding onto the scene at a brand-new Gisborne track – H Blackbee Park, he came in as an unknown quantity and left as a force to be reckoned with. Fair to say everyone knows his name now and they’ve been talking about him ever since!

WIN FREE TYRES UP TO THE VALUE OF $1500

Book a Wheel Alignment at a ShockPro Workshop during March and April and you could be in the draw to win up to $1500 worth of FREE TYRES!

Wheel Alignments are one of the most beneficial checks you can do for your vehicle regularly. Not only do they correct a myriad of little kerb knocks and pothole exits, restoring your ride quality instantly and affordably. But they are also a major health check for your vehicle too.

Bad alignment will show our technicians a handful of symptoms that will help them diagnose what’s going on with handling and stability, often revealing a greater issue mechanically that needs to be addressed promptly. Keeping the tyres in constant even contact with the road surface also prevents uneven tyre wear, improves handling and stopping distances, and can even improve fuel economy.

Wheel alignments should be carried out once or twice a year ideally, and any time after repairs that change the geometry of your tyre like with suspension or brake repairs.

Preparing to get Hitched?

Kiwis love a road trip, perhaps we can blame this on an overactive adventure gland? Or maybe it’s intrinsically stamped into our DNA to take that road less travelled, get lost on it, and discover a yet to be tagged but totally insta-worthy campsite, where we then take up residence for the next five days in complete isolation, basking in our own resourcefulness.

And perhaps isolation isn’t so scary for a nation tucked down in the corner pocket of the world, a place where that number eight wire mentality breeds self-sufficiency. But there’s another aspect of our road-tripping nature that has flourished from this too, and that is our ability to be prepared for anything. And by this I am referring to the packing of everything we may possibly ever need – and yes, that does include the kitchen sink!

This is only made worse, or as we say ‘better’…by our complete need to cling to all the comforts of home, while away for a seemingly short period of time. Do we really need a freezer just so we can have ice cream during the summer holidays… darn tootin’ we do; it gets hot lazing under the Pohutukawa at the beach you know! And what about the free-standing oven you disconnected from the sleepout back home – well, how else do you cook up properly flaky lunchtime sausage rolls for the whanau and the neighbouring campsites while staying in a tent!
